Yiwu is one of the most renowned Pu'er tea-producing regions, celebrated as the "Hometown of Imperial Tribute Tea"—tea that was historically presented to the emperors of China. The area is scattered with small villages hidden deep in the mountains, including Luoshuidong, which is home to numerous ancient ecological tea trees. Luoshuidong was also historically a primary source for harvesting the raw materials used to make imperial tribute tea. This tea is carefully made from the high-mountain spring tea of old trees in Luoshuidong, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The tea has a rich, fragrant aroma, a complex and pleasant flavor, and holds up well through multiple infusions. It is perfect for immediate enjoyment, aging, or as a thoughtful gift.
